Rules

1. Clean and Fun

I would like to keep the gaming open to the anyone who wishes to play, so I would like for you to treat it if it were to be a PG or PG-13 rating. So I ask if you would try not to use any vulgar or explicit language or actions, if you slip I will act as a censor and edit it out if I see it necessary. I say PG-13 at the most because of the violence in the game, since most of the battles are in ships and mecha there wont be much blood, but sometimes there is cases where there is, thus the PG-13 rating.

2. Fiction and Nonfiction

This RPG is fiction, therefor I don't suggest you try to do anything or act out ANY events at home that may cause personal injury or hurt others. This game is not real, its like a continuous story the players and Gamemaster create for fun, "it is just a game."

3. Rolling Dice

First off, yes you will need dice, if you can't obtain the dice you need I will make all the rolls for you that you don't have the dice for. This is an honor system, I trust that you will roll all of your dice honestly and tell me the number you rolled honestly. If you always roll max or extremely lucky rolls all the time, I will not be so kind to you.. I might make all the "bad guys" gain up on you until your done away with heh. Anyways, who would want to play if everyone cheated? Where's the fun in that huh?

4. Posting and Threads

A. I recommend that you only have one main screen name (for posting in the discussion forums), and one (or more, limit - 4) character screen name(s) for posting in the Robotech gaming section. If you only plan on playing one character, you only need one screen name all together, but if you want you can have one for discussion and one for gaming.

B. When it comes to threads, I will be the only one starting them and finishing them when it comes to the gaming. Also in the gaming threads, I would prefer it if you would stay clear of posting pics and sounds, unless you have my permission to do so. Occasionally I'll post pics and sounds to add some atmosphere to the adventure, also for help showing what something might look like.

5. Taking Turns

Everyone will have a chance to have some game play in this game. There are "melees", one melee is exactly 15 seconds, each character has a ceratin amount of actions per a melee, some more than others. The Gamemaster will set up who's turn it is and what order people take there turns in. the Gamemaster will take you through it step by step, so don't worry if you dont understand this at first.

6. Character Advancement

After each adventure is over the Gamemaster will look back through the game, and tally up each player's own experience. Then, soon after there will be a post titled "Chalk Board: m-d-y" with in that post there will be a list of all characters and their current standings and experience points. If/when you get enough experience points, you will gain a level and it will indicate that by your name.
